![]() Van is amazing with nails and such a lovely gal, but I have heard her tell someone (on more than one occasion) the reason it hurts is because of the way the client is holding her hand. When someone tells you that they are hurting/burning you, do NOT blame it on the client. Also, one more thing, because I know the staff at Twin reads these reviews. ![]() (I have really long nails, and a lot of techs won’t do long nails here in UT). I lost my nail tech, who I liked a lot, and I now have to find a new salon, which in this city is hard. I received a text after asking for another appointment that he feels I need to seek out a new nail tech as he doesn’t feel he is doing a good enough job for me. However, at the next visit after that, he was very cold, barely spoke to me and made me feel quite uncomfortable in a place I have been to so many times before. He tried it, I didn’t like it, and after I asked him to change them back (always with kindness and respect), and he did, and they are lovely. I don’t know why he did it, as we have been doing my nails the same way for awhile. Nail tech Kevin just booted me after being his client for 3 years and 3 different locations, because I was unhappy with a slight change he tried to make on my nails.
